1.1 Where and how does UME deliver?
We offer delivery through GLS, DAO, and WebrinQ.
You can choose delivery directly to your address, a business address, or to a parcel shop during the ordering process.
UME delivers throughout Denmark, and we verify your address when you place your order to ensure that you are in a delivery area.
Please note that we do not deliver to addresses outside Denmark.
1.2 How quickly does UME deliver?
We strive to pack your order as quickly as possible and rely on GLS, DAO, and WebrinQ for delivery. Our partners are known for their fast and reliable service, with over 90% of packages arriving the next business day!
By offering these solutions, we ensure that there’s always a pickup point near you.
Orders placed before 12:00 PM are usually shipped the same day, meaning if you order before this time on a weekday, you can expect to receive your package within 24 hours in 90% of cases.
However, please note that delivery times may vary during peak periods or on special closing days. Any changes to delivery times will be communicated on the product page as much as possible.
1.3 How much does delivery cost?
Shipping costs start from 39DKK, including VAT for delivery to a parcel shop.
Delivery to a business or private address costs 39DKK.

Delivery is usually conducted from Monday to Friday between 07:00 and 18:00.
1.4 Can I have delivery at a specific time?
Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee delivery at a specific time of day. You can choose to have your order delivered to your home address, workplace, or nearest parcel shop.
When placing your order, you may indicate in the comments field if you prefer a delivery timeframe other than the usual 1-2 working days. However, we reserve the right to make necessary adjustments due to unforeseen circumstances, such as traffic or weather conditions that may delay our couriers.
If GLS or DAO cannot deliver your goods due to an incorrect address or if no one is available to receive the parcel, they will deliver the package to the nearest parcel shop. If an attempt to deliver to a business address is unsuccessful, the package can be picked up at the nearest distribution center; please contact GLS or DAO for further arrangements.
1.5 Can you leave the package somewhere if I am not at home?
Yes, both GLS, DAO, and WebrinQ offer options to leave the package at an agreed location at your address if you are not at home, utilizing services such as GLS Fuldmagt Service, DAO Modtagerflex, or the WebrinQ App.
1.6 Stock
When you place an order, UME verifies the availability of items in stock. Situations may arise where we need to discard items that do not meet our quality standards. In such cases, we may be unable to fulfill the entire order. If an unexpected error occurs in stock or if there are issues with product quality, we will contact you and offer suitable alternatives.
2. Returpolitik
2.1 Berettigelse til returnering
We accept returns for non-perishable items within 3 days of delivery, provided they are unused and in their original packaging. Please keep photo or video evidence of the defective product you receive.
Perishable items (such as fresh produce, dairy, meat and frozen items) are non-returnable unless they are defective or damaged upon receipt. Please keep photo or video evidence of the defective product you receive.
2.2 Returproces
To initiate a return, please contact our customer service at info@umefood.dk med dit ordrenummer og årsag til returneringen.
We will get back to you with instructions on how to send the items back via email.
You are responsible for the cost of return shipping unless the item is defective or we have made an error with your order.
2.3 Tilbagebetalinger
Once we receive and inspect the returned items, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
Approved refunds will be processed within 3-5 days and credited back to the original payment method.
2.4 Udvekslinger
If you wish to exchange an item, please contact our customer service.
2.5 Beskadigede eller defekte varer
If you receive an item that is damaged or defective, please contact us immediately at info@umefood.dk.
We may request photos or other evidence of the damage or defect before processing a replacement or refund.
