1. Introduction
1.1. Welcome to UME Asian Supermarket. By using our website and services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
1.2. These Terms and Conditions govern the use of our website, purchase of products, and other services provided by UME Asian Supermarket.
2. Account Registration
2.1. To place orders, you may need to create an account with accurate and complete information.
2.2. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password.
3. Product Information
3.1. We strive to provide accurate product descriptions and pricing. However, errors may occur, and we reserve the right to correct them.
3.2. All product images are for illustrative purposes only. The actual product may vary.
4. Orders and Payments
4.1. All orders are subject to availability and acceptance.
4.2. Prices are inclusive of taxes unless otherwise stated.
4.3. Payment must be made using the methods provided on the website.
4.4. We reserve the right to cancel orders at our discretion, particularly in cases of suspected fraud or unauthorized transactions.
4.5. VIP Shipping orders only accept the following payment methods: card payment and cash.
5. Delivery
5.1. We offer delivery services to specified locations. Please check our delivery zones and times.
5.2. Delivery charges and times may vary based on location and order size.
5.3. We aim to deliver within the specified timeframe, but delays may occur due to unforeseen circumstances.
5.4. VIP Shipping Service: VIP Shipping is an optional premium delivery service for customers in the VIP delivery group. Driver departure times and delivery updates will be shared in the group.
5.4.1. For same-day VIP Shipping, customers must keep their phone reachable. The driver will call twice:
First call: about 15 minutes before arrival.
Second call: about 2 minutes before arrival so the customer can come downstairs or prepare to receive the order.
5.4.2. If the driver cannot reach the customer or the customer does not show up, the attempt may be treated as an unsuccessful delivery. The driver will leave in the following cases:
Both calls are unanswered.
The first call is answered, but the second is not. On arrival, the driver will wait up to 2 minutes before leaving.
5.4.3. For safety reasons and internal policy, drivers must remain within 1 meter of their vehicle during delivery.
5.4.4. If delivery cannot be completed due to customer-related reasons (e.g., unreachable phone, delay, failure to collect the order), a reasonable re-delivery fee may apply. Customers who forfeit the order may lose their VIP Shipping eligibility.
6. Cancellation and Returns
6.1. You may cancel an order before it has been dispatched by contacting customer service.
6.2. Perishable items are non-returnable unless defective or damaged upon receipt.
6.3. For non-perishable items, returns are accepted within 3 days, provided the products are unused and in their original packaging.
6.4. Refunds will be processed using the original payment method within [3-5] days of confirmation of the returned items.
7. Liability
7.1. UME Asian Supermarket is not liable for any indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of our services.
7.2. Our liability for any claim related to the purchase of products is limited to the amount paid for the product.

10. Governing Law
10.1. Sale of alcohol. Sale of goods at UME Asian Supermarket takes place in accordance with current Danish legislation. Persons must be 18 years of age to purchase beverages with an alcohol content of 16.5% and be 16 years of age to purchase beverages with an alcohol content of less than 16.5%. When completing orders, the Customer declares to be familiar with applicable legislation on the sale of alcoholic beverages.
11. Changes to Terms and Conditions
11.1. We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on our website and will take effect immediately.
